Load in and install the firmware to the F3FC from Betaflight(v3.2.1) “triflight_0.7_Beta2_RCEXPLORERF3.hex” after which the Bootloader drops off and becomes the “STM32 Virtual Com Port”. Insert the USB cable to the F3FC board (boot button held), the “STM32 Bootloader” shows in the device manager and lights are shown on F3FC board. Tried reinstalling all drivers but yet dice… Not sure what I can do as this issue persists on both computers. All the tutorials that I have seen online are for when the STM32 bootloader is being shown, just perhaps in the wrong place in the Device Manager. Or a way to bypass this and still end up where I need to be with Betaflight. Is there a way to get the Bootloader on the devices list on Zadig.
I think Im doing most of it right, but Im stuck because on the options list on Zadig doesnt show 'STM32 Bootloader'. Yet when I bring them into work they connect right away. Trying to follow the directions from several Youtube videos about this process. However recently even this is failing to connect. I have used the zadig tool, Impulse RC tool, uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers and still havent gotten anything to talk to my FCs.
Options> List All devices Click on the drop-down box and click on the device listed STM32 Bootloader in the box to the right of. Be aware that I was able to get it to work once on my wife’s laptop. If this is the first time you put Betaflight on you need short the BL or Boot bearings (or press and hold the boot touch button) while inserting the USB in the card. Zadig driver loaded and still after the F3FC firmware update, I’m unable to load into the Betaflight configuration screen. Connecting to the tricopter via Betaflight is a constant issue.
